Spicy Chicken Casserole with Green Beans

Ingredients / 2 port 300 g chicken bites, basic recipe 300 green beans, frozen 5 dl chicken broth 2 tbsp ghee 1 onion, finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 sardines, chopped | tbsp tomato paste 2 chilli peppers, sliced 1 red bell pepper, chopped 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped 1/2 lemon juice 60 g cottage cheese to serve Celtic salt and freshly ground pepper |
Method
Boil the green beans for 5 minutes, sieve and place them into a bowl with iced water to cool.
In a large pot, add the ghee and gently heat the sardines and garlic under medium heat for a few minutes.
Add the tomato paste, chilli and bell pepper and continue for a few more minutes.
Add the chicken, green beans and broth, stir gently and simmer until the mixture thickens.
Season the taste with salt and pepper, add the lemon juice and turn off the heat.
Serve immediately and garnish with cottage cheese, dill and extra olive oil. Enjoy!
Tips
I prefer to cook and separate the beans to control the consistency and the colour.
Feta cheese makes it more classic Greek!
